'The Roots'
The Roots -
​
The WeCanUnite.ca brand. The Exclusively Canadian Private
Social Platform, evolved from a kernel seed of rebellious
gumption and an impending human necessity. The kind often
reluctantly found contained within all desperate human
adversities. A ‘thought project’ centered around a Western
Canadian campfire occurred in the fall of 2018. A meeting of
frustrated entrepreneurial minds. Ensuing bitter political
discussion among those economically battered and belittled
Western Canadian change seekers resulted in the sowing of a
subsequent ‘disruption experiment’. The Co-Founders thought
the timing was ripe to awaken the so-called ‘silent majority’
and invoke the necessary questioning of the established
status quo. Regional and National policy decisions were
being made by distant and alienating Federal authorities
without the Regional, or National consent of the citizenry. It
was becoming unbearable, unacceptable and intolerable for
even the most tolerant of Canadians. This lack of consensus
and consent seemed undemocratic enough to justify the
bending of traditional conservative rules of engagement. To
utilize the same tactics of the manipulators and social
engineers bent on the destruction of traditional Canadian
ideals and values. We did not know how to make a difference.
We STARTED anyway.
Plan For A Network
The Rub -

The Social Enterprise ‘Western Canada Unite’ was
Incorporated and launched on 16th December 2018 as a
simple grassroots ‘political pressure project’ blogging
popular, yet provocative Western Canadian public opinion on
LinkedIn. It’s mission is to advocate and champion for
Western Canadian socio-economic interests and expected
future regional autonomy.

Further for
promotion of ‘Direct Style Digital Democracy’ and
‘Referendum on Demand’ enabled technology operating on
Blockchain inspired vetting principles. To cost effectively
and pragmatically return the true decision making power to
the people. An enhancement of our current political systems.
​
And lastly, whenever deemed necessary to educate, inform
and awaken. Ignoring the plastic protocols of ‘political
correctness’ to plunge a cold and hardened steel quill of
fearless penmanship and unapologetic criticism into the
belly of the proverbial beast itself.

That raw and edgy
Western Canadian WCU initiative will be resuming soon with
this platform it inspired, hosting it as a separate stand-
alone ‘By Subscription’ area. After its temporary LinkedIn
hiatus. We trust it will inspire other Canadians to utilize
​
this ‘freedom platform’ to create their own unique content
contributing to mutual Canadian success.

The WCU initiative kicked up some dirt and purposely inflicted
some disruptive political hurt where it was called for. WCU
blazed the trails others had previously feared to tread.
Within 3 months the sentiment proved so popular ‘WeCU’ had
surpassed 10,000 persons following and ~2 Million total
impressions. With the majority being higher level
professionals in Calgary, Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver and
Montreal.

The WCU following features a wide ranging and
intelligent demographic including both Canadian and
International Women, Minorities, Immigrants, CEO’s,
Lawyers, Business Owners, Military, Athletes, Scholars,
Celebrities, Government, Law Enforcement et al representing
our often divided Canadian diversity.
​
This in spite of having
its postings ‘algorithmically manipulated’, ‘deboosted’ and
notably suppressed from the age of 6 weeks onward. We
feared and then subsequently verified that other Canadian
voices were also being suppressed and public perceptions
were largely becoming media created distortions
of controlled narratives. These ‘narratives’ proving foreign
in origin. The logical progression was to take the popular
initiative entirely National. From a platform within Canada
and Canadian Owned. Coast to Coast to Arctic Coast. We
believe all Canadians can benefit from taking greater
responsibility to participate in policy discussions. We needed
a local solution. We needed a platform for unsuppressed
local content and discussion. A uniquely Canadian solution.

We hope WeCanUnite.ca can serve its intent and purpose to
solidify our National Identity. Re-unifying our Nation
with modern digital elements driving future and mutually
successful National/Regional Cohesion, Consent and
